I'm excited: my first blog!

Happy New Year to all and sundry...

I am starting this 2009, year of Our Lord, Hebrew Year 5769, with a list of blessings:

I'm alive!

I'm fed, clothed, housed, loved, liked.

I have the ability to care for others, including my wonderful pets.

I believe in G-d!

Communication is possible world-wide with so many!

I can contribute, hopefully growing in understanding day to day.

I am living in a historic time, on the eve of an inaugaration of a president who is positive, believes in G-d and improving life, and will have a poet read her work to help celebrate this event~

I can speak my mind, post my opinion, and work in a country that recognizes free speech, encourages debate, and is generous towards others.
